Naan, just a few blocks from Parque Lleras, is serving up good Indian food in Medellin. Start out with a serving of samosas, served with a mango chutney. They are quite good, although the portion is rather disappointingly small. We tried the "curry de camarones en leche de coco" (shrimp in coconut milk curry) and "pollo tikka masala" (chicken tikka masala) and they were both good, although different from what you'd find in a typical Indian restaurant in the United States or Europe. It is often hard to find the same ingredients, and to replicate the same cooking techniques.

This is a relatively new restaurant, and they are still most likely ironing out a few kinks. But the food is good, if a little pricey. Platos fuertes also include lamb, Pacific tuna, and green curry fish. I would highly recommend the delicious mango lassi, as well. The naan, to be perfectly honest, was rather disappointing. I would suggest going back to the drawing board, so to speak, to try to perfect the recipe.

The restaurant is located on a quiet street in Medellin's Provenza neighborhood; the decor is pleasant, and the bathroom with its hanging lotus petals, is especially interesting.

The service was friendly and the ambiance agreeable. All in all, this is a recommended spot for trying Indian cuisine in Medellin, although some improvements could be made.
