Nautiluz

Nautiluz
(One block south of the main plaza in Capurgana)

Nautiluz is a tiny family-run restaurant. If you are near the airstrip or Tacurcana Lodge, just look south, and walk around the corner from the bar on the corner next to the soccer field.

There are not many dining options in Capurgana, and you are usually stuck with fish, rice, salad, and patacones. The food here is good, but I was disappointed with what I got for $10.000 COP. If you are looking for pargo rojo, ask to see they filet you are getting beforehand, and make sure to negotiate a reasonable price. All meals will typically include a glass of delicious ice-cold lemonade.

The service is reasonably friendly, the ambience is mediocre. All in all, not a bad place to grab a lunch or dinner in Capurgana, but make sure you know what you're getting beforehand. Seafood prices are fickle, and sometimes you'll end up paying more than is fair.
